Leaf Relocation

Saturday we mowed over the leaves that were on the lawns. It wasn't the greatest day to do it because they were still wet from the rain we had the past couple of days, but at least there won't be as many to pick up the next time. Bronson came over on Saturday to play with Paxton. They seemed to have fun playing outside and inside. Saturday we also got some bushes to put around the almost completed new deck. They had a nice end of the season sale!! Sunday after gospel meeting there was a potluck for Jed. He is headed back West. Good Luck Jed & we'll miss you!!

Halloween Weekend

Last Friday afternoon Mark and Sara and their kids came over for a few hours to play. The kids had a blast playing out side. The weather was sooooo nice!! After they left, Claude and Rebekah came to stay with us for the weekend. That evening we headed down to the barn for the Halloween potluck get together. The kids all had their costumes on and quite a few of the adults did as well. After eating they had a haunted house downstairs in the barn, then there was a hayride and fireworks. It was a great evening!! Saturday a bunch of us went down to Kevin and Jody's for the day. There was more eating and then we played hide and go seek with some RTV's and fourwheelers. It was another fun time with everybody. Al and Stephanie also stayed with us on Saturday night. Sunday was union meeting and potluck at Kevin and Jody's and then gospel meeting.

The Weekend

Saturday we went to breakfast at Parker's Maple Barn with Mom and Dad and Ellie and Johanna's parents who came last wednesday night for a week. It was a beautiful crisp Fall day. After breakfast we filled up the wood bin in the garage. Then Mel, Paxton and I took the RTV for a ride on some trails in the woods behind the neighbor's house. That evening Steve, Debbie, Hannah, Zach and Jeremy came up for supper. Paxton always has fun playing with them.
