Planes, Trains & Automobiles

We finally arrived at Johanna's parents on Saturday early afternoon. We had stopped friday night in Winchester Virginia for the night and came the rest of the way on Saturday. Trip stats: 788 miles, 13 1/4 hours(drive time) and 19.4 miles per gallon(not bad for a V8!). We have enjoyed a couple of visits from some of the friends around on sunday and monday evenings.

On Tuesday we drove over to Blowing Rock North Carolina to the Tweetsie Railroad amusement park. They had a Thomas The Tank Engine exhibit there. So we all got to ride on Thomas and had a fun filled day on the other rides as well.
