Monday night Supper & Slip-n-Slide

Monday night was the annual supper for the workers with the family down at the grounds. Afterwards, Kevin and Jody had a bunch of the kids up to their place for some fun on their AWESOME Slip-n-Slide. It looked like a lot of fun. Thanks guys for the great time!!

Fun in the Sun

On Friday Mark and Sara Blakemore came over with their kids. I had to work in the morning but was home for lunch and the afternoon. Then Brad and the girls came for supper. The girls stayed and played for a while after supper while Brad did some mowing at his house. Saturday was a beautiful day. Worked outside some in the morning. Johanna went to a baby shower while Paxton and I went down to the pool with Brad's family and the Howes. We spent most of the afternoon by the pool. On Sunday Claude and Rebekah came by in the afternoon and stayed for supper. Convention is almost here.

Pool Party

Today a few of the ladies and the kids met at Mom and Dad's pool since Yonjung was in town. Sounds like they had a good time.

Saturday

Saturday was work day down at the grounds again. Afterwards we went to Mom and Dad's for a cookout with a bunch of others. The kids and some of the adults had fun swimming in the pool. It sure felt good on such a hot day.

Friday Fun

Friday evening we brought supper down to the pool and ate and then swam for a little while. Then Paxton and I sent up the tent next to the garage and slept in it that night. There was a nice thunder and lightning and rain storm during the night but we braved it out and stayed out there all night. Paxton slept through the whole thing. I asked him in the morning if he had heard the thunder and rain and he said "no".

Last night Ellie and Ava asked Paxton to a sleep over in their playhouse. Uncle Brad and Tucket(their dog) plus Ellie, Ava and Paxton all slept in the playhouse. Sounds like they had a good time.

Friday afternoon Johanna and the kids and Shelley and the girls were at the pool. I was mowing our field. Paxton can now swim in the deep end without his swim belt or any flotation device. He has been having fun going off the diving board. He still needs to work on his breathing technique, sounds like he is hyperventilating when he is swimming back to the ladder, but he is having fun which is the important thing. Saturday we had work day down at the grounds. Can't believe it is already that time of year again. Summer is quickly zooming by!!

July 4th Weekend

HAPPY JULY 4TH

Thursday I only had to work a half day, so we went down to the pool for the afternoon with Lindi and the boys and Linn and Kaylise. Then on Friday we went back to the pool after lunch for the afternoon with the Timms. That evening we went to the Timms for a cookout with Nate and Jill and their boys, Adam and Lisa, and Linn and Kaylise. That night we watched fireworks from the street right in front of Brian and Lindi's house. What a great show!! Saturday we just worked around the house a bit doing some trimming, mowing cleaning, etc.
