Off to North Carolina

We are headed out this afternoon to North Carolina to see Johanna's family. We are driving down and then I(Brent) am flying back next Sunday, June 8th. Johanna is staying down for another week or so after I leave. So, until next time..............

Mowed the field this morning and did some other yard work this afternoon and then went down to Corey and Jananne's for swimming, volleyball and eating. Thanks a lot guys for a GREAT time!!

Odds and Ends

Yesterday we planted some things and spread some mulch out back between the newly finished retaining walls. One more step toward the end of that project...... Today Paxton and I went for a walk with Grampa (Kent). We came across a couple of baby birds in our field. Paxton chased one down and picked it up. The poor thing was too little to fly so he didn't stand much chance against Paxton. He held it for a few minutes and then put it down and off it ran. It's mother was a little perturbed!! Mom and Dad watched the kids this evening so Johanna and I could go out to eat for our Anniversary. Tomorrow it will be 8 years!!!

Last Day of School

Today was Paxton's last day of pre-school. He says he doesn't want school to end, but I am sure he will have fun this summer at the pool and playing outside. The year sure did go by fast!!

Ava & Calista's Kindergarten Graduation

Friday night we went to Ava and Calista's graduation from Kindergarten. The kids put on a little program and then changed into their gowns for the graduation.

Mother's Day Weekend

Shaelyn got her first ride on the lawn mower on Saturday. Ellie and Ava came up on Saturday afternoon and played outside with Paxton. Then we went down to Brad and Shelley's for supper that evening. Sunday we went out to eat for lunch to celebrate Mother's Day with Mom and Dad, Brad and Shelley's family and Grampie. Paxton went home with Ellie and Ava and played at their house until gospel meeting. We went to Kimball's for supper with Brad and Shelley's and Jobe and Mamie's families. The place was insanely busy!!

Recent Activities

Sunday, Jill, Colby and Kyle came over for dinner and then Adam and Lisa came over after gospel meeting for supper and the evening. Monday afternoon a bunch of the kids and mothers came by and the kids played at the swing set and sand box. Such nice weather for playing outside. Then it was off to softball.

Visit to the New England Aquarium

On Friday I took the day off from work and we went down to Boston to the Aquarium. It was fun to see the Penguins and all the other fish and other creatures there. We also saw an IMAX film while we were there. It was a 3D film and very interesting. Fun day!!
